As part of the Directorate Management Team within National Programmes, you will support the Director and work with colleagues to develop policy and strategy to overcome barriers and help deliver Workforce Reform. You will also contribute to CWDC delivering our strategic objectives and achieve our vision in addition to developing and leading team members.
Ideal candidates for this role will have proven experience of managing stakeholder relationships, working within a public policy environment, budgetary management skills and motivational leadership of staff.
You will have the ability to influence policy and business planning, possess effective communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload within a target driven environment. Previous experience of operating at a national level and working in or with the private, voluntary or independent sectors is desirable.

Pay Band 4: £40,936 per annum

As part of the of the National Programmes Directorate management team, you will co-ordinate systems, processes and activity across the directorate on one of the three major programmes of work in social care, early years and education psychology workforces.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally and also represent CWDC at national, regional and local level.
You will be a proactive and focused individual with previous experience of project management from commencement to completion, working at a senior level in a complex organisation and with proven staff management skills.
