Morgan Hunt was formed in October 1994 by Rupert and Stephen Fordham, operating out of a small office in Mayfair. The initial business was a city headhunting firm specialising in emerging markets. An additional office was opened in Moscow in 1995.
In 2001, the company expanded with a separate operation placing temporary workers into housing associations and into the housing departments of local authorities. Over the next few years the business grew rapidly, expanding into the NHS, education, construction and property and corporate services markets, and more recently into the private sector. The company was listed in the Virgin Fast Track for three consecutive years.
