A high profile, senior managerial position has been developed within a leading facilities management service provider, with the aim to improve on a stable business with huge growth potential. This role will require a strong experienced senior manager who has a wealth of knowledge within the electrical testing market and proven experience in managing teams, businesses and increasing revenue and service delivery. Based around the Midlands area, you will have a National remit and full PNL responsibility for this business unit.
My client is looking for an individual who has strengths in the following sectors:
Man management (essential)
Commercial/business acumen (essential)
Strategic input(essential)
Business development (preferable)
You will require proven, demonstrable experience in each of these fields, managing people and a business unit of around £5M. The company's growth plans expect the business to increase in revenue year on year for the following five years or so. There are a number of internal contracts (across the group) for this business to take advantage of, and this will be done as the infrastructure develops with your advice and guidance.
This is a General Manager / Divisional Director post which will be relied on to take this business into competition with some of the major players in the market. The scope for expansion is incredible and this will certainly require a strong headed manager who will be able to cope with high pressure decisions possible restructuring of the workforce if required.
The business currently employs over 100 people and your motivational and leadership skills will develop these individuals into a high performing workforce, believing in the culture and ethos of the company.
This role offers a negotiable salary and package, depending on the applicants experience, skill sets and abilities.
The salary is initially being offered at around the 60k mark with a competitive, full package.
