An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Noise Enforcement Officer to work in a local team based in East London.

Duties will include investigating complaints relating to noise, rubbish & smoke. Visiting complainants and perpetrators, serving abatement notices, attending court as a witness, and preparing schedules for works in default.

The successful person for the Noise Enforcement Officer position will need to have previous anti social behaviour experience, be EHORB registered and be able to demonstrate current or very recent noise nuisance experience.

A full driving licence is required as officers will have to take the Council's Driving Test to drive any Council vehicle as required.

The officer will be expected to work the 24/7 shift pattern which comprises 2 x day shifts and 2 x night shifts including weekends. This shift is followed by 4 rest days.
