Our client is looking to recruit a proactive Family Support Manager to join their team within a new service based in Thurrock, Essex. This is a great opportunity to join a national Charity and to lead a service that makes a real difference to families and children's lives.

Candidates for this position will need:
- Previous experience managing a service for vulnerable children and families with complex needs
- An enhanced CRB disclosure issued within the last 12 months

Responsibilities will include:
- Managing services providing support to adolescents and their families
- Supporting and managing the staff team
- Liaising with internal and external professional networks
- Promoting the service throughout the County
- Coordinating the assessment and risk assessments of all young people referred to the service
- Managing the allocation of new referrals

The suitable candidate must have knowledge of the following:
- Children Act 1989
- Children Act 2004
- Children Leaving Care Act 2000
- Crime and Disorder Act 1998
- Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999
- Criminal Justice Act 2003
- Anti Social Behaviour Act 2003
