An exciting high performance agency is seeking to appoint a Grants Officer to join their information and governance team and undertake the day-to-day management of grant award distribution, payments and accounting processes.

The Main Responsibilities include:

- Managing the grant award budgets, monitoring cash-flow and ensuring accuracy of accounts information

- Operating the grant award payments process, liaising with the Finance Team ensuring pay-runs operate smoothly and payments are accurate and paid on time

- Monitoring governing bodies and system partners grant expenditure; ensuring quarterly and annual cash-flow reports are checked

- Issuing relevant grant award documentation and ensuring quality control

- Acting as a key point of contact in managing investment working relationships with governing bodies and system partners including, their executive, finance and compliance functions

- Managing or participating in relevant investment and governance projects

- Contributing to operating the Grant Management System, and the on-going review/continuous improvement of the system


The Essential skills required include:

- Proven experience of grants administration, budgets and cash flow administration

- Experience of monitoring and compliance issue

- Financial management skills, including accounts analysis and interpretation of financial reports

- IT literate, with database management experience

- Knowledge of Crystal Reporting software would be an advantage
