Details: An excellent specialist vacancy has become available within Local Government for a Head of Professional and Technical Services.

The roles priority focus is to lead on the council's strategic delivery of highways, including their associated structures and drainage. The role involves asset planning and development in order to maximise value enhancement and exploit strategic opportunities with partner organisations and developers. Working alongside their change manager, you'll provide the technical support and advice around environmental services and highways necessary to ensure a reliable and comprehensive service to the borough.

To qualify for this rewarding post you'll require:
* Extensive knowledge of Local Authority capital highways works and development programmes
* A technical background within Highways
* An understanding of change, project management and strategy development
