PFI Contract Manager (Devon)

A diplomatic, reliable and conscientious PFI contract manager is being sought to manage a small portfolio of schools in South Devon.

This is an established contract, managing all hard and soft services as well as building fabric. The services are delivered using in house staff as well as sub contractors and you will ideally come from a technical background to ensure the reliability of contractors and also advise on technical issues where applicable.

Reporting to a Regional manager, you will manage around 30 people in total, from operatives (cleaners, caterers, caretakers etc) to contract support, and will liaise with the commercial team and manager where necessary. You will manage PNL accounts and be expected to deliver all services to the highest standard within the set budgets (under £1M/annum)

This is a multisite portfolio, with sites being in close proximity to each other, and so travel arrangements/remuneration will be negotiable depending on person.

You will ideally have contractual experience within PFI, delivering total fm to schools or colleges. As well as this, you should have excellent client facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, and the diplomacy to tackle challenging clients and contractors.

This role offers a salary of up 35K + package. This will be negotiable depending on the successful applicant's skill sets and qualifications, and so may increase to 40k and vehicle.
