Interview Process
Morgan Hunt has a 3 stage interview process.
1st Interview – This is a telephone interview which lasts 10-15 minutes with our internal recruitment team. As consultants spend nearly all of their day on the telephone speaking to clients and candidates, it is imperative that you have a good confident telephone manner and the ability to think on your feet.
2nd Interview – Assessment Day or Face to Face interview
Assessment days - Are run throughout the year for trainee level positions. This day is a mixture of company presentations, individual and group assessments where we test key competences in line with our hiring requirements. From this day successful candidates are invited for second round face to face interviews.
Face to Face Interview – Held at our offices where you will meet with a manager for approximately 1 hour. In addition to your own research, you will gain a good understanding of Morgan Hunt including the role of a consultant, our structure, culture and ethos. We will also use the opportunity to find out about you, your motivations and expectations. This is your opportunity to sell yourself.
Third interview – Desk Trial and 3rd Interview – At this stage you will come in for approx 1.5 hours for a desk trial. The manager will set some objectives and you will be calling and speaking with relevant candidates. This gives us the opportunity to see how you perform over the phone and also allows you to meet the team and get a real feel for what it is like on the desk.
If successful after the desk trial you will meet with one of the divisional managers or directors for a final face to face interview.
