About the role
The College is seeking to employ an Examinations Manager to join our team within our Registry Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the examinations team to provide a professional, effective level of support, respecting student confidentiality and regulatory processes and contributing to the College’s commitment to inclusivity through Access arrangements.
The examinations administration team supports the College curriculum by playing an important role in enhancing the student experience during their assessment periods; working closely with Academics and other Registry and College Services to support the College agenda.
You will also help develop and improve processes to make best use of IT solutions and shared working to improve efficiency and will ensure cohesive team working so everyone is supported during times of peak workload.
About you
You will have a good standard of education (A-level or equivalent, and a level 3 management qualification or equivalent experience), proven management skills and experience of operational delivery to a high standard. You will have excellent IT skills and be well-organised and self-motivated, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team.

In this exciting diverse role for Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales you will assist and support the regional development and implementation of a cohesive programme of face to face/online/blended community adult provision in the geographical areas of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea and Carmarthenshire.
Whilst you will be dealing with a curriculum provision programme, please note this is not a teaching or course development/design/resource role. This is a hands on role, operating at pace, you will be key in assisting the Regional Manager in ensuring that all learning activities meet the agreed provision, finance and quality targets.
The 3 areas within this region offer different opportunities of curriculum development this could be from developing bilingual and Welsh language provision, supporting our Voluntary Movement through our ‘Branches’ and supporting the development of curriculum within our thriving vocational centre of our light construction (carpentry and woodwork).
Working closely with business support teams to identify, support and coordinate tutor deployment within regional provision, to support and assist Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities, to ensure learners receive the maximum benefit from the organisation’s support services.
You will be working collaboratively with key stakeholders within the regions, private industry, statutory and voluntary bodies to support the ongoing development of the regional curriculum provision and recruitment of viable of number to the curriculum programme.

Salary: Current scale at £26,351 to £32,895 pro rata, per annum depending on experience (MG1 – MG4)​​

You will work with the Associate Director - Recruitment to develop and deliver an annual plan of student engagement that aligns with wider recruitment strategy to support student recruitment and conversion.
In addition, you will work with senior stakeholders in the University to lead on plans and implement a fit for purpose Clearing operation function that meets the requirements of the University recruitment ambitions.
You will be required to work with stakeholders from across the institution to provide?£?expertise and identify system requirements, process improvements and training within the university CRM system. The successful candidate will be responsible for the data integrity within the system and highlight the functionality required to maximise student recruitment and conversion activities across both home and international markets. They will support the central CRM and IT project Management team to create functionally rich CRM solutions which are capable of meeting the needs of the External Relations Department.?£??£?
