We are currently looking for an experienced Head of Procurement to support the Group Director of Finance t to provide a centralised procurement service to the New City College Group ensuring proper standards of probity and value for money. You will be accoun for ensuring all procurement action carried out by the College Group conforms to the college financial regulations and public procurement procedures.
You will inform and advise managers and other college staff as required on procurement policies and procedures, sources of supply and provide assistance and support to all managers in issuing invitations to tender via E-tendering portal, dealing with clarifications, evaluate and report on tenders returned, sending successful/un-successful notification letters.
CIPS qualified or proven experience in a similar role and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
