Job description

The YMCA St Paul's Group are looking to recruit 2 Receptionists to work 20 hours each over 5 days a week including Weekends and Bank Holidays.

The post holder will deliver consistently high-quality customer service throughout the organisation; providing an excellent service experience and 'one-stop-shop' provision for residents and other YMCA visitors. As a central point of contact for all customers, will be responding to various queries, providing information and holistic support in an open and honest way.

Applicants should have:

  • Knowledge of computerised tills, booking systems
  • Knowledge of office systems and procedures
  • GCSE in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent)
  • Excellent command of English language and clear understanding of professional boundaries
  • At least 2 years of experience of working in a customer service environment, Facilities or Estates team
  • Experience of working with a vulnerable group of people, including those affected by substance misuse and mental illness
  • Able to identify potential health & safety hazards and to take appropriate action on these
