Job description

Are you a looking for a new exciting, Analytics Developer role, which is very flexible, at an international law firm?

The purpose of the role is to be a key member of a progressive and developing Business Improvement Team. You will be focused on the technical redevelopment of the firms SSRS reporting suite and transition to a new data warehouse. You will support the development of a new suite of management reports and analytics.

You will have a strong and diverse technical background, including knowledge of data modelling, report design and front-end technologies. You will be joining a vibrant and supportive working environment and bringing in your strong analytical, pro-active and professional approach.


Up to £85K, (Excellent Benefits package - includes 9% pension contribution)

Very Flexible role (Can opt for fully remote or hybrid)



Role responsibilities-


  • Working with senior stakeholders to develop, implement and steward the law firm's reporting architecture.
  • Developing analytics and reporting capabilities to facilitate the conversion of data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.
  • Design and develop data models using T-SQL, Stored Procedures and functions.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, Excel and other reporting technologies.
  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources to build into the Data Warehouse and / or reports.
  • Support the team's efforts in making improvements to data quality, accuracy, completeness, consistency and reliability.


To be successful as an Analytics Developer, you will have-


  • Experience with Microsoft SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) required, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
  • Experience with BI tools, including Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio and Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Excellent Power BI experience
  • Strong data analysis & data-warehouse development skills in SQL Server with experience of designing and building multi-dimensional data warehouse models.
  • Good experience of building front end BI solutions/dashboards using reporting and visualisation tools.
  • Proven hands-on experience of developing BI solutions within a professional services environment.
