Multi Skilled Trades Operative

Job description

Morgan Hunt are recruiting for Multi-skilled Trades Operatives for immediate starts within a large housing association covering the East Midlands - Lincoln and surrounding areas.

You should have previous experience in all aspects of carpentry and also painting & decorating and general plumbing and electrics.

Your key responsibilities will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on tenanted and/or void properties across the East Midlands areas.

As a Multi-skilled Trades operative you should;

• Hold a City & Guilds or NVQ OR be time-served
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be skilled in more than one trade
• Have a sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Be competent using hand tools
• Hold a driving licence - travel is essential

For this role you must hold a DBS, or be willing to obtain one.

37 hours a week Monday to Friday
Temporary, with the potential to go permanent.
Hourly rate is dependant on experience & trade but varies from £18-22 per hour.
