Our client

Morgan Hunt are working with a large Housing Association who are looking to recruit a temporary Customer Contact Officer for their hub in Manchester. The successful candidate will work in the office whilst training approximately 2 weeks , and then our client has a hybrid approach, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. This role is to start immediately.

As part of the Customer Hub you will be the first point of contact for customers and often colleagues for repair related queries that will be received through various contact methods. You will be working in a fast paced environment and focus on providing excellent timely resolution for customers and colleagues.

The role - Customer Contact Officer

  • Working predominantly on repairs you will deal with all aspects of repair related queries from Customers and Colleagues
  • Responding to these enquiries in a timely manner through a range of ways such as over the phone, by email and by webchat in line with quality guidelines and service standards.
  • Ensuring that clear, comprehensive, and timely records are logged into systems for all contacts.
  • Managing customer expectations about the services on offer and having a good understanding of the customer's responsibilities when holding a tenancy.

The candidate - Customer Contact Officer

  • Experience of working in a customer focused role
  • Experience of responding to and resolving challenging customer situations
  • The ability to, and comfortable with, making decisions supported by knowledge and experience
  • The ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders so you are able to find the right information, and resolve problems
  • Experience of using Microsoft office or similar
  • Great written and verbal communication
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to time-manage your work load
