Morgan Hunt are currently partnering exclusively with a Regulator within Central Government in their search for a Temporary to Permanent Public and Regulatory Lawyer to join their team in London.
As a Public and Regulatory Lawyer you will be responsible for providing legal advice on a variety of legal issues regarding the public sector, including Employment Law and Contracts & Procurement Law.
The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing legal advice and conducting a range of legal work, partly focused around areas of generalist Public Law (including Employment, Contracts & Procurement Law etc).
They will also be responsible for undertaking more specific Regulatory legal work, such as drafting Statutory Guidance, interpreting regulations and work relating to Data & Information Law.
You will need to be a confident individual, who is willing to work in a professional, governmental department as part of a small legal team. You will need to be motivated and be able to complete the bulk of case and workload on your own.

Job Title: Public and Regulatory Lawyer
Location: Hybrid (1 day a week in Westminster for meetings)
Annual Salary: £51,000 - £63,500 (or daily equivalent on PAYE or Umbrella)
Hours: Full-Time (37 hours per week)
