Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior or Associate/Director PQS to join a well known property consultancy in Glasgow at Associate/Director level. The company have established a very strong reputation in the market for providing PQS services to both the private and public-sector. The organisation are currently looking to expand due to further work wins in multiple areas.

  • HGV Driver
    Up to £12.50 per hour plus standby, overtime rates

    Morgan Hunt is currently seeking HGV Drivers for an ongoing contract across Moray. This position is based around Elgin area. In order to be successful for this role, You will be required to have a class 2 licence, Cpc and Taco Digi Card.

    These contracts will be long term for a minimum of 4 months with an Immediate start.

    Your role will be expected to do HGV Driving of a class 2 vehicle for winter maintenance work. The operatives generally work on a rota basis, They will be undertaking a variety of road maintenance tasks as well as driving gritters. There could be the opportunity for a permanent job at the end of the season for the right person.

    There is a great opportunity to earn overtime and decent standby payments. Overtime is all dictated by the weather.

  • Supply Chain Manager

    Morgan Hunt is currently working with a global construction firm, based in London, in their search for an Interim Supply Chain Manager to work with internal stakeholders and manage the supply chain.

    As a successful post holder you will be working closely with the Head of Supply Chain to implement and enhance the company\'s supply chain strategy.

    This position will offer internal opportunity, progression, and a wide range of experience where you will have a strong impact on the future of the supply chain management. This is a hybrid working position that will require you to attend the office 2-3 days a week.

    Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

    Location: Hybrid (Mostly on site when starting the role)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Respond to supply chain enquiries and approaches, fostering relationships with potential partners.
    • Attend industry events where a strong supply chain presence is required, representing the company effectively.
    • Collate and store supply chain responses, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining accurate records on SharePoint.
    • Ensure that the supply chain is pre-qualified to the Build UK Common Assessment standard consistently.
    • Monitor the sustainability efforts of subcontractors and liaise with the Supply Chain Sustainability School.
    • Liaise with supply chain assessment bodies and projects to ensure timely and accurate information.
    • Collaborate with projects and supply chain to trial Risk Radar, Credit Safe, and Red Flag financial checking programs.
    • Send regular updates to the supply chain, contribute to the production of the Supply Chain Newsletter, and maintain an up-to-date section on SharePoint.
    • Set up category management group meetings, take and distribute actions, and support the Head of Supply Chain with category management initiatives.
    • Ensure that supply chain lists, trades, geographical capabilities, and data for core trades/disciplines are communicated and up to date on SharePoint.
    • Assist with supply chain conferences, B2B meetings, and 360-degree scoring/feedback sessions.
    • Set up and communicate CPD sessions with our supply chain partners.
    • Raise Head/Office purchase orders and facilitate the on boarding of Head Office suppliers and subcontractors.

    Personal Specification

    • Proficient Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and internet.
    • Excellent Communication and Organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and department expectations.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Undertake Chartered Institute of Procurement & supply exams.
    • Proven experience in a similar supply chain management role.
    • Strong knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Familiarity with SharePoint and other relevant tools.
