Network Product Engineer

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Network Product Engineer on a permanent basis on behalf of our public-sector client based in Dundee.
Salary: £45k - £54k
Annual Leave: 39 Days
Pension: 21% Employer Contribution
Working Model: Hybrid; Flexibility of working hours and location
The role encompasses ownership, design, and the engineering of technical IT infrastructure, working closely with an external managed service. This responsibility spans areas such as Networking, Data Centre and Wireless Networking, Firewall Services, VPNs, Network Access Control Technologies, and Monitoring Tools. Ensuring that services are production-ready involves investigating vendors, integrating technologies, pre-release testing, and creating comprehensive documentation.
Skills & Experience:
- ITIL Intermediate Certificate - Service Design.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate.
- Appropriate Technical Certifications or equivalent experience e.g. CCNP/CCSP/CCDP ArubaSNWL qualifications.
- Good working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.
- Service delivery management experience of working in an ITIL-based framework.
- Experience of the maintenance and development of processes.
- Experience of translating technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts and vice versa.
