Job Title: Chair of the Trustees
Location: We deliver services across Gloucestershire, Bristol, Wiltshire, and Devon however we can be flexible if you are based outside of area and are able to attend meetings and events as required.


About us
FearFree is a charity working to break the cycle of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and stalking across the Southwest. We are working for a future where those trapped in a cycle of violence can break free and live a life free from fear.

We raise awareness, support survivors to recognise signs of abuse and empower them to rebuild their lives, guide abusers toward positive change, and assist survivors in healing and finding safety. Together, we will create a world free from abuse.

About you
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our organisation as Chair of Trustees.

As the Chair of Trustees of the charity, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organisation towards greater success. Your leadership and guidance will be instrumental in ensuring we continue to provide the best support and care to those who need it most. You will oversee our dedicated board, working collaboratively with trustees and management.

This is an exciting time for our organisation as we are going through a time of significant growth and change. We look for a visionary leader who will bring strategic oversight and demonstrate the best in good governance, supporting and building consensus with the Board and Chief Executive. An appreciate of income generation in the charity sector would also be welcomed. It is important that you bring a values alignment and the desire to work in a collaborative manner.
