Job description
Morgan Hunt are currently working with a leading FE College based in London who are currently seeking to appoint a Level 3 Childcare Assessor. The Childcare Assessor will be responsible for organising, allocating and supervising student placements against agreed standards of competence using a range of assessment methods, giving feedback on assessment decisions and contribute to the quality assurance process. This is a part time, 21 hours per week, temporary ongoing position.
The Childcare Assessor will be responsible for:
- Developing and agreeing realistic plans for learning and assessment with students, including the identification of different needs.
- Planning the assessment process with students, tutors and relevant stakeholders including establishing employer participation
- Monitoring the feedback & support on assessment decisions, including delivery of underpinning knowledge. Contributing to the internal and external quality assurance process
The Childcare Assessor will need to have:
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a Childcare
- Industry experience within a childcare Background
- Assessing qualification
