We are now seeking an exceptional Teacher of Science who has the ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning to young people aged 16-19, to cover a period of maternity leave.
You will join a talented staff team in a successful Sixth Form and will be supported to develop your teaching practice in an environment of positive encouragement and mutual respect. You’ll provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, stretching and challenging your students to reach their potential. You will ensure they feel confident about going out into the world and being extraordinary in life and in their future career. Salary is based on the SFCA teaching spine points 1-9 £32,468 - £48,599 inclusive of London Weighting.

Specific vacancies are for an Electrician and a Multi Skills Lecturer to join our team, but we do welcome interest across all the sectors, as we may have short engagements for specific skill sets.
Full-time roles are an 8.30 - 4.30 pm day across five days, teaching approximately 23 hours. You will support the training and development of 16-19-year-olds and adults wishing to upskill. There is an aspect of course management for all Lecturers; you will ensure all learners attend well, complete their assessments and work hard to develop broader skills to be ready to go into appropriate employment opportunities or an apprenticeship.
We have full-time and flexible job opportunities if you are a qualified tradesperson passionate about passing on your excellent knowledge, skills, and experiences. About the role :
West London College is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Lecturer in English to join its team. The appointed candidate will be responsible for teaching GCSE English and Functional Skills. This role will include lesson preparation, classroom delivery and marking. The appointed candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our learners and providing them with an outstanding experience. The post holder will also contribute to curriculum development within the department and will be actively involved in the recruitment, interviewing, selection and counselling of students.
The successful applicant will be an experienced educator with the ability to deliver English at GCSE level as well as Functional Skills. They will have experience in delivering innovative and creative teaching and learning and possess an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of curriculum delivery. The appointed candidate will have a passion for delivering student success and have the ability to use inspiring teaching methods and produce engaging teaching materials. Excellent English and Maths skills will be required along with a high level of IT competency.
To be eligible to apply for this role, you must possess the relevant qualifications listed in the person specification, this includes but is not limited to at least a level 2 qualification in Maths & English.
