Morgan Hunt have partnered with a national Charity who are recruiting for an Employer Engagement Officer in Islington. This is a full time permanent role paying up to £32,800. The role offers hybrid working with the successful candidate being required in the office circa 3 days per week. The primary function of this role will be to source work experience placements for special needs students enrolled on employability courses.
The Employer Engagement Officer will be responsible for:
- engaging with employers to source vacancies for special needs learners enrolled on Employability courses
- managing a team of Job Coaches to ensure learners are progressing on time
- collaborating with Tutors to develop an understanding of each learners career inspirations
- capturing data to meet Ofsted requirements
The Employer Engagement Officer will need to have:
- previous experience in working engaging with employers to source work experience opportunities
- worked with learners with special needs or learning disabilities
- knowledge of employment and education programmes
- a successful track record of achieving targets
In return the successful candidate for the Employment Engagement Officer will receive:
- An annual salary of up to £32,800
- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Flexible working
- Pension contribution up to 5%
