Finance Officer
Morgan Hunt is working with a College in East London who are looking at recruiting a Finance Officer. This is a Temp to Perm contract role paying up to £19 p/hour and will be fully office based.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Officer:
- Supporting the Finance Manager to assist and deputise when necessary, ensuring smooth finance service provision.
- Manage bank reconciliations, ensure data accuracy, and timely collection of owed funds.
- Direct college procurement process, ensuring compliance and best value.
- Provide administrative support, organise audits, manage insurance systems, and asset tracking.
- Provide cover, maintain professional service standards, address inquiries and complaints promptly.
Previous Skills and Experience of the Finance Officer:
- Previously worked in Higher Education.
- Relevant financial qualification is ideal.
- Used sales and purchase ledgers, processed payments, year end and audit processes.
- Candidates with an Enhanced DBS on the update service will have an advantage.
