Job description
Morgan Hunt are currently working with a leading FE College based in London who are currently seeking to appoint a Landscape Assessor. The Landscape Assessor will need to hold a Level 3 Assessor award, NVQ Level 3 in Landscape and industry experience. The Landscape Assessor will take responsibility for the assessment of cohorts of landscape apprentices studying at the College. Under the management of the Team Leader for the scheme, the post holder will deliver centre based learning programmes and conduct workplace assessment visits across Greater London.
The Landscape Assessor will be responsible for:
- Teaching groups of apprentices following the course timetable and design and prepare learning materials for lessons
- Track and mark apprentice coursework using the college e-portfolio system
- Assisting apprentices in preparing individual action plans
- Prepare and conduct workplace reviews and assessments
The Landscape Assessor will need to have:
- A level 3 qualification in Lands
- Teaching/Assessing qualification or willingness to achieve (support will be given to gain accreditation over a specified period.)
- Relevant industrial experience in the area concerned
