Pentagon Talent are partnering with a lovely accountancy firm in central London who provide exceptional outsourcing, bookkeeping, accounting and payroll solutions to recruit for a Client Accountant. They are a forward thinking firm providing services to a range of fast growing businesses. As a result of growth they are looking for an experienced individual to join their sociable and hard working team.
Duties and responsibilities
As a Client Accountant you will be carrying out the overall service delivery responsibility for a portfolio of clients, preparing monthly management accounts, VAT returns preparation and review. You will be preparing the annual P11D\'s and PAYE Settlement Agreements for own portfolio of clients. You will also provide professional advice to your portfolio of clients whether that\'s through budgeting/forecasting or otherwise. You will review client work on bookkeeping and VAT returns by junior team members.
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as a Client Accountant you will have at least two years practice firm experience with skills in outsourcing, you will be AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified. You will be someone who has excellent communication skills and enjoys working with clients.

Applications are invited for a Payroll & Pensions Administrator in People and Culture Directorate – Human Resources. This is a part time and permanent role, working 21 hours per week, based at our facility in Kensington/hybrid (1-2 days will be required on site).
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive person to join our Payroll & Pensions Manager, to assist in the delivery of our monthly payroll for all staff at the RCA (including casual workers), ensuring the process is efficient, in line with best practice and is legally compliant.
With previous experience in administering Payroll & Pension processing, you will be able to do manual calculations, monthly reporting and reconciliation of contributions and demonstrate an extensive understanding of current statutory legislations. Your knowledge of Excel will be good as will be your ability to interpret reports and a keen eye for detail is essential. A working knowledge of the iTrent system would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
You will have the ability to prioritise work, take responsibility and meet strict deadlines to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll to our outsourced payroll provider. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, be a team player and committed to maintaining a high level of customer service across the organisation at all levels.

JOB SUMMARY:
To work closely with the Head of Finance Information systems and Assistant Director of Finance to manage and maintain the financial ledger. To assist the Financial Systems team in the operation and development of the Trust\'s financial system, ensuring the financial integrity of the ledgers and maintaining appropriate system access and security.
To assist in providing a helpdesk facility for all financial systems users across the Trust, providing advice, support, incident resolution and training as necessary.
To manage and maintain the Trust\'s electronic staff expenses system.
To manage junior members of the team within finance systems
