Job Description

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Facilities Provider based across multiple London sites, in their search for Cleaners.

As a cleaner, you will help in carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks and provide a high standard of service. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas are kept clean and sanitary, as well as reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to the appropriate persons.

Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Multiple locations across London, North, East, South and West

Job Type: Temporary, Ongoing

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of service to the site and maintain cleanliness in all areas.
  • Ensure the development and its buildings and common areas are professionally cleaned, well presented and maintained.
  • Daily tasks will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and vacuuming of communal areas.
  • If required, disposal of rubbish in the designated rubbish collection area.
  • Ensure that all health and safety risks are identified and report any accidents, trips, spills, hazards or near misses as per the site procedures, to the development manager or assistant development manager.
  • Front entrances, communal stairways, corridors and passageways kept clean at all times.

Personal Specification

  • Previous experience in cleaning
  • Will need to undertake a DBS and CTC background check, these will be processed if not already completed
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Able to travel and work unsocial hours
  • No facial hair, piercings or jewellery

    • Liaise with supply chain assessment bodies and projects to ensure timely and accurate information.
    • Collaborate with projects and supply chain to trial Risk Radar, Credit Safe, and Red Flag financial checking programs.
    • Send regular updates to the supply chain, contribute to the production of the Supply Chain Newsletter, and maintain an up-to-date section on SharePoint.
    • Set up category management group meetings, take and distribute actions, and support the Head of Supply Chain with category management initiatives.
    • Ensure that supply chain lists, trades, geographical capabilities, and data for core trades/disciplines are communicated and up to date on SharePoint.
    • Assist with supply chain conferences, B2B meetings, and 360-degree scoring/feedback sessions.
    • Set up and communicate CPD sessions with our supply chain partners.
    • Raise Head/Office purchase orders and facilitate the on boarding of Head Office suppliers and subcontractors.

    Personal Specification

    • Proficient Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and internet.
    • Excellent Communication and Organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and department expectations.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Undertake Chartered Institute of Procurement & supply exams.
    • Proven experience in a similar supply chain management role.
    • Strong knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Familiarity with SharePoint and other relevant tools.
