Job Title: Family Resettlement Worker

Location: Westminster

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Family Resettlement Worker to join our team in Westminster. The service primarily supports families from Afghanistan and Ukraine in their resettlement journey, providing essential assistance to ensure they thrive in their new accommodations and become active members of the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 15 key clients/families, conducting regular key working sessions to establish support plans and goals, with regular reviews
• Complete thorough and high-quality risk assessments and risk management plans
• Welcome newly arrived families to their new accommodation, offering orientation to the local area
• Facilitate access to support services and help meet the needs of clients and families, actively engaging with community services and institutions, and advocating for clients when necessary
• Provide housing advice to clients and families to help them maintain their tenancies
• Empower clients and families to develop life skills and encourage participation in activities to promote independence and community involvement
• Proactively liaise, communicate, and negotiate with internal and external specialists and external agencies to maximise client support services, resources, and funding
• Support clients and families in identifying and applying for suitable employment, training, or education opportunities

Requirements:

• Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM.
• Cover required for approximately 2-3 months.
