Job description
Floating Support Worker
Location: In and around the Tottenham area.
Working Hours:
- 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
Support Workers will:
- Process and conduct referrals and assessments
- Support a caseload of up to 12 customers for a duration of up to 6 months
- Address housing and benefits-related issues, including debt, arrears, repairs, eviction, income maximisation, PIP applications, renewals, mandatory reconsiderations, and money management matters
- Facilitate meaningful activities, referrals to other services, and provide support for training, employment, and education
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an outreach/floating support environment is essential due to the fast-paced nature of the role
- Ideally located in North London, considering salary and travel time
- Computer and language literacy are preferred
- Demonstrated hardworking attitude and a positive demeanor
Note:
- This is a fast-paced role, and we are unable to provide training for individuals without prior outreach/floating support experience
- Candidates residing in North London are preferred due to cost and travel considerations
