Job Description

Job Title: Housing First Team Leader (Temporary - 6 weeks with possible extension)

Location: Newham, with remote working. (mimium 3-4 days office/community based)

Salary: £17.00 - £22.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.

Are you an experienced professional with a passion for housing, safeguarding, and team leadership? We are seeking a dedicated Housing First Team Leader to join our client\'s Newham team on a temporary basis for an initial 6-week period. In this role, you will take charge of managing a team of 4 individuals, ensuring the safety and well-being of service users while maintaining a healthy team dynamic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 4 individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Safeguarding: Act as the Safeguarding Lead, prioritizing the safety and well-being of each service user.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits with team members to ensure the health and safety of properties and service users.
  • Risk and Support Plans: Oversee the development and implementation of risk and support plans for service users.
  • Reports: Produce summary reports for internal purposes as required.
  • Incident Reporting: Conduct Root Cause Analysis for serious incidents and coordinate the completion and submission of incident reports.
  • Governance: Lead and deliver Integrated Governance Team Meetings, supporting the development of governance systems.
  • Training: Provide training for staff to ensure the service meets agreed targets and outcomes.
  • Audits: Conduct regular audits across services to ensure effective record keeping and risk management.
  • Relationship Building: Develop close working relationships with Service Leads to ensure a consistent approach to service delivery.
  • Coaching: Offer effective 1:1 and group coaching to staff, identifying areas of strength and opportunity.
  • Workshops: Design and deliver staff workshops and training sessions based on identified needs.
  • Compliance: Ensure staff compliance with policies within your operational responsibility.

    Develop long term strategic plans for safety issues which impact across all services requiring support from the Executive Team.

  • Assistant Director of Estates and Capital Projects

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join us as an Assistant Director of Estates and Capital Projects.

    Reporting to the Director of Estates and Facilities you will have responsibility for the Estates Operations and Asset Management functions across Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will act as 
    senior leader and line manager for the Estates and Facilities Department, having overall responsibility for property, estates, construction and maintenance. 

    KCHFT operate from a vast number of sites across Kent, parts of East Sussex and London. The Estates & Facilities department aims to deliver a quality service across a range of duties.

    Main duties of the job

    The successful post holder will be responsible for the planning and delivery of estate and capital schemes to ensure the delivery of high quality health care, value for money and efficiency in use of resources.

    You will act as a senior leader and line manager for the Estates and Facilities Department, having overall responsibility for property, estates, construction, maintenance.

    In addition, you will provide update reports to the Director of Estates and Facilities on key Estate initiatives and you will resolve highly complex and sensitive issues which may conflict with the aims of the Estates Strategy and overall Trust aims and objectives.
