Financial Reporting Accountant
Morgan Hunt is working with a College in North London who are looking at recruiting a Financial Reporting Accountant. This is a 3-month contract role paying up to £34 p/hour and will be hybrid (3 days in, 2 from home).
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Accountant:
- Balance Sheet control accounts reconciliation
- To deal with yearend queries from External accountants and liaise with them
- Preparation of draft set of final financial statements of account
- Business Partnering with other non-financial managers
- To identify Mis-postings and correction journals as at period 12 before closedown
Previous Skills and Experience of the Financial Reporting Accountant:
- Ideally ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Previous FE experience / public sector is ideal.
- Must have previously worked on year end audit and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Someone who can use initiative and work independently as well as in a team.
