Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Finance Officer on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Glasgow and will be for a period of 2-3 months with possible extension. The role will start on 27th Nov or 4th Dec and will be mainly office based however there will be flexible working available.
The main duties of the role are:
- To attend to financial, accounting and administrative tasks in the work of the finance section.
- To implement the procedures necessary to provide bookkeeping services
- To ensure that the Association's policies and procedures are implemented in respect of banking and other day to day financial matters.
- To administer the Association's payroll system, complying with agreed procedures.
- To assist in ensuring that the Association complies with its policies on debt control.
- To implement general policies and practices necessary to fulfil the obligations of the Finance section.
You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in accountancy or finance to be considered for the role.
