Customer Service Advisor

 

Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 months. The position will be based in Glasgow.

You will be part of a tenancy hub where you will provide a front-line service to tenants. You will be responsible for taking calls from tenants on a variety of issues however this would predominantly be repairs.

Duties of the role include:

  1. answering calls from tenants
  2. providing a front line repairs service
  3. assisting with housing related enquiries
  4. escalating calls to senior officers
  5. general admin

To be considered for the position you must have experience in social housing/property or repairs.

The role is to start ASAP.

    Day to day

    • To deliver excellent front line housing management and estate management services to SBHA’s Tenants
    • To maximise the collection of rent by ensuring that timely and robust action is taken to prevent/recover rent arrears and let empty homes
    • Ensure a speedy and focussed response to anti-social behaviour and other breaches of tenancy conditions.
    • Promote and facilitate tenancy sustainment

    Essential skills

    • Previous experience of delivery effective housing and estate management services.
    • A good understanding of relevant Housing and Benefits legislation
    • A sound knowledge of resident involvement strategies and techniques
    • Knowledge and understanding of housing management software
    • Commitment to achieving high standards of customer service
    • Resilience and ability to deal with conflict and problem solve
    • Strong IT, analytical and written skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including negotiating and influencing customers, partners and stakeholders
    • Team player with positive attitude and flexible approach.
    • Current UK driving licence and access to car

  • HGV Driver
    £12.50 - £16.00 per hour plus standby, overtime rates

    Morgan Hunt is currently seeking HGV Drivers for an ongoing contract in Kyle (Isle of Skye).

    You will be required to have a class 2 licence, Cpc and Taco Digi Card

    These contracts will be long term for a minimum of 6 months with an anticipated start date of Asap.

    The operatives generally work Monday to Friday 0800-1630. They\'ll be undertaking a variety of road maintenance tasks as well as driving gritters. There could be the opportunity for a permanent job at the end of the season for the right person.

    You will work a 3 week rota:

    • 1 week dayshift - Standby Saturday and Sunday at home. Monday to Friday 0800-1630 but standby for any dayshift gritting out with these times including weekend. (min 40hrs)
    • 1 week nightshift - Standby Saturday and Sunday nights at home. In the depot Monday to Thursday 1930-0600 doing road maintenance tasks if mild. Friday night standby at home. (min 40hrs)
    • 1 week \'spare\' - Monday to Friday 0800-1630 (min 40hrs) no standby requirement

    Effectively every 2 weekends out of 3 they\'ll be on a standby.

    Overtime rates

    Any hours over a weekly 40 is paid at x1.5 = £20.25 per hour

    Nightshift is paid at x1.3 for the first 40hrs = £17.55 per hour

    1.8 for anything over 40hrs (Nightshift) = £24.30 per hour

    Standby rate

    Full week - £109.03

    No standby is paid when on nightshifts Monday to Thursday, but you will still be paid for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

    There is a great opportunity to earn overtime and decent standby payments. Overtime is all dictated by the weather.

  • Painter and Decorators

    Morgan Hunt are recruiting painters for work in void domestic properties within the Moray Area.

    You should be an experienced painter, preferably Time served and have experience working in domestic properties. You will be responsible for prepping surfaces ready for decoration, gloss & emulsion work and other painting duties.

    37-40 hours per week, may be opportunity for overtime at enhanced rates

    £20.00 per hour - CIS/ Umbrella

    Rates for Paye is £15.50 per hour

    Immediate start available, long term contact for up to a years work, for the right person.
