Morgan Hunt are delighted to be partnering with Muirhouse Housing Association in their search for a Corporate & Finance Manager.

Muirhouse Housing Association are a community-based housing association who provide high quality social housing and excellent customer service in north Edinburgh. Having recently celebrated their 30 year milestone the Housing Association is a vital part of the community. With 570 properties Muirhouse provide both social housing and mid market renal properties.

The Corporate & Finance Manager role has broad remit covering, financial management, governance, risk and compliance, human resources, ICT and corporate services. Some of the key responsibilities of are:

• Advising the CEO and the Board on all aspects of governance, risk and compliance, financial management and corporate support services
• Developing and implementing systems to provide assurance for the Board on governance and compliance
• Ensuring the correct systems and processes are in place to drive efficiency and effectiveness within Finance, ICT, HR and Communications.
• As part of the Senior Management Team you will contribute to the strategic leadership and development of the organisation and lead the Corporate Services team.
• Work with key partners and stakeholders to build a strong reputation as an excellent housing provider and key contributor to wider community services.

Essential Criteria for the position:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Relevant professional qualification e.g. business administration and/or accountancy/finance qualifications.
• Senior role in social housing sector or relevant sector where compliance and financial strength is paramount.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to engage positively with different groups of people
• Excellent people management skills.
