G5 Programme Administrator

Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Programme Administrator with a Higher Education client on a contract basis for 1 year, with the opportunity for extension. The position will be based in Edinburgh and will be full time with a hybrid approach welcomed (35 hour working week).

The department requires support to help organise logistics such as setting up workshops, meetings, engagement events, board meetings and administrating all aspects of the programme.



Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Minute taking, Diary Management, Scheduling of meetings is essential experience.
  • previous experience and track-record of administration and ideally in supporting large programmes or departments
  • outstanding organisation, planning and administration skills with technical experience of using tools to provide accurate meeting notes; actions and minutes for example
  • experience of working in a team and with people from different professional disciplines - including supporting senior staff
  • good written and excellent oral communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • initiative, judgement, and willingness to resolve our day-to-day challenges independently, with a proactive approach to finding solutions
  • highly developed time-management skills, with applied experience of dealing with conflicting demands and prioritising your workload and the workload of colleagues - in a changing and fast-paced environment.
