Job description
Morgan Hunt is delighted to be helping a public sector client based in the Scottish Highlands recruit for a Procurement Advisor. You will support the delivery of 'Net-Zero' through sustainable and responsible procurement.
This organisation have a flexible approach to working conditions, fully remote is an option given that you are able to travel to the office in Inverness on a quarterly basis.
The role:
- Lead procurement activity for contracts related to goods and services
- Main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Category management
- Data analysis & risk management
- Negotiating terms with suppliers
- Strategy development and tender preparation
Requirements:
- Public Sector Procurement experience is a must
- Category management is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to build good working relationships
- CIPS or working towards
