Procurement Specialist - Contract (Inside IR35) approx 6 months
Morgan Hunt has an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist available for a 6 month contract with our Local Authority client in Edinburgh. This role is hybrid, with one day per week required as a minimum in the office.
The role:
- Project planning and management
- Engaging with suppliers
- Lead selection of suppliers, ensuring value for money
- Deliver projects in a commercially effective manner
- Identify and manage risks and issues
- Preparing reports and documentation
Requirements:
- Strategic procurement experience and involved with leading, developing and implementing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective project management skills
- Proactive individual with an ability to work on own initiative
- Able to manage a busy workload efficiently
