Key responsibilities

In this Site Managers job, your responsibilities will include:

Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to members of the project team as appropriate

Effectively managing any project delays

Ensuring dimensional controls are in place from the outset and are utilised accordingly.

Completing daily site diary as outlined on BIM 360 Field platform.

Plan, implement and monitor site logistics.

The co-ordination and control of the project, including staff, labour, and sub-contractors, from the construction phase through to completion and handover to the Client.

Ensuring compliance with Quality Control and Quality Management.

Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety

Effectively communicating with the Design Team to ensure the timely release of design information.

Building and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders.

Skills & experience

A Construction or Civil Engineering related degree or relevant trade & Construction Management experience

Leadership experience in the Construction industry

Experience in Education construction projects

Valid CSCS card

SMSTS qualified.

Competent in Health and Safety practise

First aid knowledge

A member of the CIOB, ICE or CEng (Desirable)


You will have the opportunity to work with a well-established local contractor who deliver projects all over the Northeast of Scotland. They have a genuine interest in career progression and stability. Salary package £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 DOE Car Allowance. Fuel Card, Pension 6% employer's contribution Holiday entitlement 30 days increasing with length of service. Working Hours 7.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday 41.5 hours per week with any additional hours paid overtime rates.
