Job description
My client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to offer support for the wider finance function.
This successful candidate will undertake the below tasks:
- Assisting with Purchase Ledger processing
- Inputting invoices and credits
- Dealing with any queries that arise from invoices and aiming to resolve any issues that arise
- Reconciling statements and investigating missing invoices
- Preparation and submission of monthly payment run
- Meeting month end deadlines
- Collating and Posting of month end accruals
- Bank transactions including weekly/monthly reconciliations
- Credit Card transactions including reconciliations
- Monitoring shared inbox and ensuring queries are dealt with or appropriately sourced out
- Assisting with Audit processes where required
Skills:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously when needed
- Demonstrate Eagerness to develop and learn
- Strong Communication skills
- Can confidently multi-task and manage workload effectively
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, sound Excel skills desired
My client is offering a salary of £25,000 - £27,000, attractive annual leave entitlement, great benefits alongside hybrid working.
**Although the role is advertised as permanent, my client is open to contractors who would consider 6 months assignments.**
