Are you passionate about supporting SEND students and making a difference in their educational journey? Morgan Huntis excited to announce an opportunity for experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a dynamic Further Education College in Scarborough.
Position Details:
Role: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Start Date: September
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Location: Scarborough
Daily Rate: £95 - £100
Contract: Long-term basis
Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support to SEND students
- Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best educational outcomes for students.
- Encourage and motivate students to engage and succeed in their studies.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly with SEND children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
