We have a current opportunity for a IDVA - MARAC on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Birmingham. For further information about this position please apply.
Job Title : Independent Domestic Violence Advocate - MARAC
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 ( occasional out of hours working will be required )
Salary: £29,269 - £31,364 per annum
Location: Birmingham
Industry: Domestic Violence
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide short term service to meet victims of Domestic Abuse needs.
- Support and empower service users to facilitate their understands of the impacts of Domestic Violence
- Represent the client at MARAC/ DRIVE meetings
- Carry out risk assessments and safety planning with women fleeing DV.
Role Requirements:
- Experience working within the Domestic Violence industry
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Confident working with a multi agency team
