We are currently seeking an Assessor in Electrical Installation to join our Apprenticeship Team. Are you an experienced tradesperson in Electrical maintenance and installation? Would you like to help our apprentices achieve their qualifications by assessing their skills in the workplace and helping them to complete their portfolios? If this is you, then why not apply to become an Electrical Training Assessor in Apprenticeships. The main purpose of this role is to provide outstanding student experience through work based support and assessment, enabling our apprentices to maximise their full potential. Within this role your main responsibilities will include maintaining effective employer relationships and working closely with our electrical apprentices and college tutors. This will mean monitoring the progress of the apprentices and motivating them to produce portfolio evidence and achieve their qualification by an agreed date. The successful candidate will hold a relevant Electrical qualification and/or hold an assessor or verifier qualification - or be willing to work towards this. With an enthusiastic and engaging approach, you will have the ability to motivate apprentices and support them to achieve their full potential. Training and Qualifications Our experienced team of staff will guide you through the role and support you as you build up your experience with York College IT systems and Education and Skills Funding Agency guidelines. If you do not have your assessor and verifier qualifications we will fund the cost of your training. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure check and will need a full driver’s licence to undertake this role. Catering Assistant

Hours: 21 hours per week during term time 38 weeks per year.
The working pattern will be over 5 days Monday – Friday
Usual hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 10.30am – 2.30pm and Thursday 9.30am – 2.30pm. Flexibility is required around the demands of the business.
Salary: £10,794 per annum (i.e. £21,993 pro rata per annum). Plus benefits including a Generous Occupational Pension Scheme.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join the College’s busy commercial catering outlets. The role involves serving customers, till operation, food preparation, replenishing stock, and ensuring the equipment and premises are cleaned to a high standard. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while occasionally working under pressure to deliver food efficiently and on time, as part of a team, this is the role for you.
About the Person
We are looking for a great team player with a positive, can-do attitude, and a flexible approach to work. Experience of food preparation and working in a catering environment would be advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided. You should have a passion for delivering friendly and efficient customer service. Full uniform provided.

The Trainee Project Coordinator is an integral part of the union and reports directly to the Head of Community Learn. The Trainee Project Coordinator will work as part of a team engaging Community members and expanding the union’s presence in the community. About the Role
The Personal Development Co-ordinator is a newly created position within our Student Support Service team, you will be based at Rotherham College, part of the RNN Group and will be responsible for the creation and delivery of an exciting and engaging programme of personal development activities and events for College learners to enhance their College experience.
As a Personal Development Co-ordinator, the key duties of this role will be to create a programme of personal development activities, available to all learners and working with learners to understand key topics and themes. You will organise, coordinate and deliver events to develop the essential life and personal skills of students, including health, wellbeing and learning opportunities
You will build effective partnerships with external organisations, who will provide guest speaker delivery and lead on learner voice activity.
You will…
You will have experience of working within an educational environment, ideally within a Further Education/Post-16 environment. Working as a team, you will be responsible for organising, co-ordinating, promoting and delivering events to develop essential life and personal skills of learners.
You will have qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent, and a Level 2 qualification in Guidance/Counselling or similar. You will also be able to demonstrate good customer service skills and be able to work with respect and confidentiality.

The role of Personal Development Co-ordinator will work within a team on site and with colleagues in similar positions across other RNN Group campuses in order to provide a consistent approach to events, delivery and offerings. You will report to the Student Support Team Leader and work closely with colleagues in the Student Support teams onsite. You will also liaise with curriculum managers and tutors to ensure learners access appropriate personal development opportunities for their individual learner journey.
