Job Title: Computing Lecturer - T Levels

Location: Greater Manchester, UK

Salary: £28-31 pound per hour

1 month contract: Full time - 37 hours per week

Starting: Monday 30^th October

Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Computing Lecturer who specializes in T Levels to inspire and educate the next generation of computing professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of computing education in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching to students pursuing T Level qualifications in Computing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and informative lectures and workshops in accordance with the T Level curriculum.
• Developing and delivering innovative and interactive teaching materials and resources.
• Providing guidance and support to students, helping them achieve their academic and career goals.
• Assessing and evaluating student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve the Computing T Level program.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and incorporating real-world applications into the curriculum.

Qualifications:

• A relevant bachelor's degree or higher in Computing or a related field.
• A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS (desirable but not mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of the T Level curriculum in Computing.
• Previous experience teaching or working with students at the further education level.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the computing industry and technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
