  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
  • Manage the marketing and communications budget effectively and allocate resources for maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with academic departments to align marketing strategies with program objectives.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all marketing and communications efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Proven track record of leadership in marketing and communications, preferably in the education sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, social media, and email campaigns.

    Department Info

    You will be part of the Adult & Community team and your line manager will be the Curriculum Manager. You will regularly report on your objectives to update your Programme Leader / Curriculum Leader regarding a range of KPI’s including (but not limited to) student recruitment, retention, anticipated achievement, attendance and punctuality.

    You will be part of a Curriculum and Department team and will work with other teaching staff to develop and share good practice in the area.

  • Facilities Assistant (Weekend)

    About the Role

    This role is to support weekend operations at the conservatoire between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 Saturday and Sunday and is for 41 weeks per year in line with our term time opening.

    Based at Leeds Conservatoire, the Facilities team is responsible for providing the services that support the functionality, safety, and sustainability of the Conservatoire's buildings, grounds and infrastructure. 

    Leeds Conservatoire is a leading Conservatoire offering undergraduate music degrees in Classical, Popular, Jazz, Music Production, Folk, Music Business, and Drama.

    The role comes under the Directorate of Estates, which comprises Health, Safety and Environment team, the Campus Facilities team and Property and Maintenance team. Between the service and the estate across the whole of the Luminate Group.

    What You Will Do

    • Setting up musical equipment eg. Drum kits, PA systems, amps and microphones for lessons and events.
    • Working alongside the Event Technicians and Performance resource team.
    • Providing a safe working environment for all campus users.
    • Reacting to maintenance issues.
    • Completing compliance and H&S checks.
    • Opening and closing the building, security and door access.
    • Using IT systems to manage workflow and communicate with other departments. Assisting the Facilities Supervisor with co-ordinating all works.
    • Using initiative to solve problems.

    About You

    • Capable of delivering outstanding customer service.
    • Able to work on own initiative.
    • Strong work ethic.
    • Comfortable using IT and software for a variety of applications.
    • Happy in an active and practical role.
    • Good communicator.
    • An interest in music and music technology is desirable, but not essential.

    The role of HE Lecturer in Cyber Security here at UC Leeds is to plan, deliver and assess essential curriculum to our students. The role requires the maintenance of essential knowledge of the Cyber Security industry and the ability to effectively deliver this content to learners.

    What You Will Do

    • Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and assessment plans.
    • Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
    • Maintain and update knowledge of the subject and / or vocational area.
    • Create individual SMART learning targets linked to learner study programme/course.
    • Adapt curriculum delivery methods to maximise their effectiveness, including through the use of technology.
    • Apply theoretical understanding of effective practice in teaching, learning and assessment drawing on research and other evidence.

    About You

    • Holds a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE).
    • Relevant highest-level vocational qualification or degree in teaching subject.
    • Recent teaching delivery in relevant subject areas (PGCE teaching placements/experience would also qualify here) which demonstrates active learning and differentiated teaching styles.
    • Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience of utilising a range of teaching practices to enhance learner journey and progression.
    • Has knowledge of Privilege Escalation and/or Kill-Chain Cyber Attack framework.
    • Has knowledge / Experience in tools, methods and techniques that can be used in the Cyber investigation process’.
