Functional skills Lecturer
Lancashire
£28 to 31 per hour
2 days a week- Tuesday and Thursday- full days- for the rest of the academic year
START DATE: 2/01/2024
Morgan Hunt are currently looking to recruit a Functional skills Maths and English Lecturer
- This is working with a football club in Lancashire and is an exciting opportunity to help youth academy football players get qualifications whilst they hopefully take it to the next level, but have something to fall back on if they don't make it pro
- Delivering Functional skills and GCSE Maths for the whole academic year on Tuesdays
- Delivering Functional skills and GCSE English for the whole academic year on Thursdays
Responsibilities of a Functional skills Lecturer:
* You will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the standards of work required
* Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the organisation as required
* Delivery of functional skills maths and English and GCSE
Requirements of a Functional skills Lecturer:
* A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent is essential
* Experience of delivering Maths and English functional skills
* A related Degree is desirable but not essential
* A current DBS
