Hair Dressing Lecturer
Greater Manchester
£28-31 pound per hour
Start date: ASAP
25 hours per week- Agency contract until October half term- could be extended
Job description
- Teaching BTEC up to level 3 Hair Dressing
- Experience in delivering to 16-18 year olds
- Working for an FE College in Greater Manchester
Responsibilities of a Hair Dressing Lecturer:
- Working in the Hair Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
- Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
- Delivery of BTEC hair dressing up to level 3
Core Purpose:
- To teach students assigned to the teacher and to ensure that planning, preparation,
- recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To monitor and assess student progress to improve their quality of learning and personal growth
Requirements of a Hair Dressing Lecturer:
- A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
- Experience of delivering the subject.
- Hair related qualifications up to level 3
- A current DBS on the update service
