Recruitment Coordinator - Lancashire

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Recruitment Coordinator within the Education Sector. Salary c.£30k with great benefits, free car parking, enhanced leave allowance, competitive pension scheme, agile working opportunities.

Role Recruitment Coordinator

  • Develop and run effective recruitment strategies to meet the staffing needs of the college.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings and sourcing candidates to interviewing and onboarding new hires.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their staffing requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Utilise various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and college career fairs, to identify potential candidates.
  • Screen and evaluate applications to shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, providing an excellent candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and improve recruitment processes.

Skills and Experience Recruitment Coordinator

  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in an educational or similar setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using ATS and other HR software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
  • A proactive approach to recruitment.
