Job description
Morgan Hunt have partnered with an established charity who are seeking to recruit a Childcare Tutor. This is a full time permanent role working on site 5 days per week in Leeds (LS3 area) and the salary for this role is paying up to £26,000. The primary function of this role is to deliver Level 1 and 2 Childcare qualifications as well as Employability and embedding Functional Skills and to offer advice on Childcare to learners looking to begin their careers in this sector.
The Childcare Tutor will be responsible for:
- designing, planning and delivering interactive lessons to learners studying Levels 1 and 2 Childcare and Employability qualifications
- embedding Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2
- ensuring learners documentation is compliant and correctly completed to ensure eligibility for funding
- attending regular meetings with the quality team
The Childcare Tutor will need to hold:
- a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare
- a Level 3 (or above) teaching qualification
- occupational competency within Childcare
- previous experience in teaching learners aged between 11-16 or 16-18 on either Childcare, Traineeship, Employability Skills or Study Programme courses
