Job Description

About the role:

The post holder will be responsible for working with individuals and small groups in practical settings to support the delivery of the employment pillar under the ILS curriculum. The post holder will work closely with course tutors and assist in the setting, updating and tracking of learner targets ensuring a person centred approach is taken. The post holder may also be required to provide support across all campuses when required throughout the Curriculum Area.

Staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd will have responsibility for the safeguarding and for the promoting the welfare of learner.
Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the College, either at your principal place of work or other College premises, commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the role.

 

It is recognised that duties and responsibilities of all posts may change from time to time and job descriptions may be amended in consultation with the post holder to reflect those changes which are commensurate with the role.

    About the role:

     

    To provide for and support learners who require additional support, be that academic, physical, emotional or social. To work closely with lecturing/functional staff and be responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a wide range of support mechanisms that will assist an individual learner to progress successfully through their vocational studies.

    As a Curriculum & Quality Administrator, you will work within the Quality Department reporting directly to the Head of Quality. Your role will involve providing a administative support service to Head of School. You will provide general clerical support to Heads of School and work at the direction of the Head of Quality to ensure accurate curriculum attainments and work with other staff at multiple levels to obtain outstanding attainments.
