Job description

Diversity & Inclusion Specialist, 3 month contract - Leading Regulator

This is a great opportunity for an immediately available Equality, Diversity & Inclusion specialist to join a leading regulator.

You will be responsible for taking the lead on their structured Diversity & Inclusion programmes. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Providing deep subject matter expertise on equality, diversity and inclusion - including remaining current on the latest trends and issues
  • Ensuring the D&I strategy and related work programmes are fit for purpose and relevant
  • Ensuring effective embedding of D&I good practice including our high priority organisational design work and delivery of necessary actions following Equality Impact Assessment
  • Supporting, challenging and influencing colleagues to drive forward changes in our Corporate Services function and in local teams across the organisation
  • Working with teams across the organisation, including People and Procurement, to ensure compliance
  • Working with L&D partners to ensure D&I is effectively embedded within our L&D Strategy and corporate induction process
  • Providing support and assistance to our internal diversity networks to help them deliver their action plans and to coordinate across common themes and issues

You should be an experienced Equality, Diversity & Inclusion specialist with proven experience of creating and delivering Diversity and Inclusion programmes and projects in a structured manner. Exceptional stakeholder management skills need to combined with an analytical mind set.
