Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Hospital based in Leatherhead, in their search for Domestic Team Leaders. The role is an exciting opportunity for a domestic team lead who has experience within the Public and Health Sectors.
As a domestic team leader, you will ensure the delivery of a full cleaning service and provide a high standard of service. You will be responsible for managing teams to ensure all areas are kept clean and sanitary, as well as reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to the appropriate persons.

Key Responsibilities
- Planning and organising the cleaning operations for the hospital or department.
- Assist the Deputy facilities manager effectively manage the housekeeping department.
- Maintain and improve the standard of the overall environment and services within the Department.
- Together with the Team Leaders they will ensure that, Patient, staff environments are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, and that the services to patients and staff provided via the department are provided effectively and efficiently.
- Provide effective senior support to a group of staff and will require the appropriate people, co-ordination, communication and collaborative skills to undertake this task effectively.
- Assist the Team leader in providing a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.
Personal Specification
- Previous experience in managing a team
- Working knowledge of health and safety requirements
- City and Guilds level 3 cleaning and support services or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Be physically fit
- Attention to detail
- Work as part of a team and unsupervised
- Happy to work in a hospital environment with a close proximity to patients
- No facial hair, piercings or jewellery
- MUST be able to work weekends
